When the Sky Danced is a hopeful children’s story inspired by the Northern Lights and created for First Nations and Métis youth across Canada. It encourages young readers to look up, appreciate the beauty around them, and focus on the good things in life.
I’m excited to announce that my new children’s book, When the Sky Danced, is planned for release in early September.
The story follows a young child who looks up at the Northern Lights and discovers a sense of beauty, hope, and wonder. Created with First Nations and Métis youth across Canada in mind, the book encourages children to recognize the good in their lives, even during difficult times.
Inspired by the skies and landscapes of Northern Saskatchewan, When the Sky Danced brings together storytelling, culture, nature, and the quiet magic of the aurora.
More information about the official release date and where the book will be available will be shared soon.
