Moonlight on the Water in La Ronge

I took this photograph in La Ronge, Saskatchewan: a wooden dock reaching into calm water, stars overhead, and moonlight reflected across the lake.

The warm tones of the dock stand out against the cool blue sky and water. Trees and small islands line the horizon, while a few shoreline lights reflect on the left.

Alongside the northern lights, scenes like this show another side of the northern Saskatchewan night. A still lake and a sky full of stars deserve a place in the collection too.
